Our first-gen funds support initiatives and programs that address the unique challenges of students who are the first in their families to attend college.
The First at WSU approach is holistic, and we design our programs with the whole student in mind. We give our students the tools and resources they need to level the playing field as first-generation Cougs, and we provide opportunities for students to develop tangible skills that help them succeed at WSU and beyond.
By supporting First at WSU and First Gen Abroad, our study abroad program specifically for first-gen students, you are supporting the continued success of first-generation Cougs and increasing the number of first-generation students who benefit from these programs.
